Marji started college with a business major after skipping ahead two years of highschool, and in addition she was a freshman taking junior level classes. After her first year of college Marji decided to switch her major, where she found out she was meant for architecture. After graduating in four years, she vacationed in Saudi Arabia, where she was offered two jobs that started her career. In the day Marji did graphic design for the joint commission between the US treasury and the Saudii economic department, and in her off hours she designed offices for a Swedish marketing firm. Even though Margi was not Saudi, she had to be picked up in the morning, and she had to wear long sleeves and a scarf over her head, just to go to work. Furthermore, on the side Marji was also designing palaces for Saudi princesses, where everything was luxurious and layered in gold. From this long journey, she became interested in architecture and it evolved to become her present passion and career.
